Mrs Hibbert comes to the class once a week and delivers a highly engaging, fun and interactive language lesson.
Woodland School
Every week the children enjoy a Woodland School session in our large outdoor bark area. They enjoy a vast array of activities in the large open outdoor space. Children are more stimulated in the outdoors and it gives them the opportunity to grow in confidence, enthusiasm and creativity.
Music and Performing Arts
Our Music teacher here at Park Hill, uses a variety of musical instruments during her weekly music lessons. Music enables children to learn new words and expand their vocabulary, giving them more words to express themselves resulting in an increase in confidence and creativity. Our Performing Arts sessions allow the children to develop their creative and imaginative skills. It simultaneously teaches children language and communication skills, helping them to communicate effectively with others with confidence.
All-through playful learning
Children will dive into spooky science with bubbling potions and glowing experiments, pick their own pumpkins during a fun autumn adventure, enjoy seasonal stories that spark imagination, and bring an ice cream shop to life by creating menus, flavours, and shop designs—all through playful, hands-on learning.

We welcome children aged 2 to 4 years
At our nursery, we adhere strictly to the national guidelines set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. This framework ensures the best possible care and development for children in the early years. The ratios are as follows: –
- Under 2’s : 1:3 ratio
- 2-3yrs olds on 1:5 ratio
- over 3’s ratio is 1:8.
Our nursery features daily activities, including Music, Drama, French, Cooking Club, and Teddy Sport session.
With direct support from Park Hill School’s teachers, our nursery ensures a seamless transition into the main school.
